                                      The US share market data analysis project focuses on monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), Nasdaq Composite, and S&P 500 indices. The objective of this project is to assess market trends, identify investment opportunities, and implement a pair trading strategy to optimize returns.

Project Overview

Data Collection:
The project begins with sourcing historical and real-time data for the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and S&P 500. Data points include daily open, high, low, close prices, trading volumes, and market capitalization. The data is gathered using APIs from financial data providers such as Alpha Vantage and Yahoo Finance.

Data Cleaning and Preprocessing:
Raw data is cleaned to remove anomalies and adjusted for corporate actions like stock splits and dividends. Data is aligned for consistency to facilitate accurate comparison across indices.

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):
EDA involves identifying trends, seasonality, and correlations among the indices. Visualizations such as line charts, moving averages, and heatmaps are used to illustrate insights. Key metrics include daily and cumulative returns, volatility, and sector performance.

Pair Trading Strategy Implementation:
A pair trading strategy is applied by selecting correlated index components from different indices, such as high-tech stocks from Nasdaq versus industrials from the Dow Jones. Statistical tests like cointegration and correlation matrices are used to select optimal pairs. The trading logic involves buying the underperforming stock while shorting the outperformer, capitalizing on mean reversion.

Performance Evaluation:
Back testing is conducted to measure the profitability of the pair trading strategy over a specified period. Performance metrics such as Sharpe ratio, win rate, and maximum drawdown are analyzed.

Segregation Analysis: Evaluating the types and amounts of waste segregated into categories (e.g., organic, plastic, paper, metal).

Recycling Metrics: Monitoring the amount of waste that is recycled versus disposed of in landfills.

Efficiency Tracking: Analyzing the performance of collection and recycling centers to identify bottlenecks.

Environmental Impact: Estimating the reduction in carbon emissions achieved through recycling efforts.

Document the project scope, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in Confluence. Create a project timeline and assign tasks in Monday.com. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.

Task Management and Progress Tracking:
Tools Used: Jira, Monday.com

Create user stories, tasks, and sub-tasks in Jira. Use agile boards to monitor progress and ensure all teams stay aligned. Track task dependencies and deadlines in Monday.com for overall project oversight.
